Multicriteria Analysis
Description
Application of multicriteria evaluation techniques to design solutions at the building and urban scale. Specifically, the Analytic Hierarchy process, weighted summation, and the electre method. Experiments involve both new projects and interventions on existing buildings and nature-based solutions.
Themes
The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) technique was applied to evaluate the most satisfactory design solution for green roofs on buildings based on a series of both technical (acoustic insulation, thermal insulation, etc.) and economic (construction and maintenance costs) criteria. The technique was also applied to weight ESG criteria for buildings, involving a panel of designers, builders, and real estate managers.
